Perforated Cable Tray

Generally used in applications with intermediate to long support spans. Cable trays without covers permits the maximum free flow of air across the cables. This allows the heat produced in the cable’s conductors to effectively dissipate. Under such conditions, the conductor insulation in the cables of a properly designed cable tray wiring system will not exceed its maximum operating temperature.

Ladder Type Cable Tray

3E Solutions manufacture and supply Ladder type cable trays also to supply its client base. Ladder type cable trays are comparatively economic and robust . A ladder cable tray without covers permits the maximum free flow of air across the cables. This allows the heat produced in the cable’s conductors to effectively dissipate. The rungs provide a convenient anchor for tying down cables in vertical runs or where the positions of the cables must be maintained in horizontal runs. • Cables may exit or enter through the top or the bottom of the tray..

3E Solutions manufacture cable trays in 1.6 mm thick  or 2 mm thick sizes. Following are the normal cable trays sizes kept in stock also for quick delivery:

50mm x 25 mmx 1.6 mm   
100mm x 40 mmx 1.6 mm 
150 mmx 40 mm x1.6 mm 
200mm x 40 mmx 1.6 mm
300mmx 40 mmx 1.6 mm 

However, any sizes of cable trays are manufactured with lead time 4 days to 1 week.

Cable Trays- Finishes

The perforated cable trays are manufactured and supplied in 3 finishes: 

  1. MS Painted Cable Trays( Economic , normally used indoor, common colour- Siemens Grey)
  2. Galvanised Iron Finishes are in PG ( Pre Galvanized ) Cable Trays and Hot Dip Galvanised Cable Trays. PG finished cable trays are made with GI sheets where as Cable trays are formed with MS sheets and then with hanging in hot bath of Zinc, Hot dip Galvanised Cable trays are manufactured.
  3. Powder Coated cable trays ( outdoor  too but normally   indoor): Looks attractive but susceptible to corrosion.
