EARTHING MATERIALS COPPER STRIPS

In order to connect the equipments like Diesel Generators, Transformers and equipment which are likely to carry fault current above 3kA, Strip Conductors are used to connect equipment to earthing to be able to carry safely the fault current till the time interrupting device like MCB, MCCB or Air Circuit Breaker operate and isolate the faulty equipment. Moreover, it is conventional to use Copper Conductor to connect Neutral Terminal of Transformer and DG etc to Copper Terminal of Earthings.
